The exam is a national level exam that tests the mental ability, problem-solving skills, speed of calculation, critical study, the accuracy of a child & quicker problem-solving methods. The Institute for Promotion of Mathematics(IPM) is an annual exam conducted. Founded in 1996, the institute tries to bring awareness and prepare students for problems outside the standard syllabus.This exam is purely Mathematics. The question paper consists of 40 questions with 2.5 marks each. The entire question paper will be objective. The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes for the final test.

The language medium is English only. The Examination is being conducted for all classes from II to IX with the following details.
The institute tries to make learning a joyful activity and, in general, to sharpen mathematical skills. Rather than checking the mechanical problem-solving skills, the test tests the core fundamentals and tests the students. The institute promotes quicker mental mathematics and fosters enthusiasm for competitive exams. The Institute has given 76,23,000 INR in scholarships to 21056 talented students, with all-expenses-paid trips to the top students and the relevant principles of the school.
Students of class II to Class IX of S.S.C, I.C.S.E, C.B.S.E & I.B, or any other Board registration are eligible for this exam.
We conduct two exams every year. The final exam is held in April, and those who secure more than certain marks in that exam are eligible to appear for the Level -2 exam, also called Mega final, typically held in Aug.
