The iOM is a major educational event for maths enthusiasts from all over India. The examination uncovers students’ true mathematical capabilities. This Olympiad in India is conducted annually at the National and International levels, based on the syllabus prescription by CBSE/ ICSE/ ICBSE and the other State Boards. Apart from the syllabus, a part of the test paper is based on Applied Mathematics. The SilverZone conducts the IOM - International math Olympiad in India Foundation annually. IOM is an intermediate-level exam conducted in English across the nation across multiple states. The language medium is English only. The Examination is being conducted for all classes from 1st to 12th with the following details.
Duration: 40 Minutes duration
Number of questions: 25 questions
Duration: 50 Minutes duration
Number of questions: 30 questions
Number of questions: 35 questions
Duration: 60 Minutes duration
Number of questions: 40 questions
Raw Score is derived from multiplying each correct answer with its base marks. i.e. Raw Score = SUM (correct answer X subsequent base Marks)
Total Marks = Raw Score + SUM (Weightage of Correct Answers)
Each Question carries an additional weightage starting of a minor fraction, let’s say.0001.0002, The weightage helps break the tie on all the levels.
