International Informatics Olympiad endeavours to assess the competency and proficiency of the students in the field of Computer Science at the National and International levels every year. Its syllabus comprises the syllabus of CBSE/ICSE and various State Boards. The iiO examination is based on Computer Science, which provides ample opportunity to the students to test their skills, sharpen them accordingly and provide know-how about international standards. Please refer to the books published by Silverzone for the preparation of iiO. We recommend the competition for every student in the school.
The language medium is English only. The examination is conducted for a duration of 40minutes, and for high school, it’s for 50 minutes. The questions will be of objective type in nature with multiple choice answers. There is no negative marking.
Raw Score is the total product of each correct answer and its base marks. i.e. Raw Score = SUM (correct answer X subsequent base Marks)
Total Marks = Raw Score + SUM (Weightage of Correct Answers)Note: Each question has an additional successive point allotted to .00001 .0002 in the following question to ensure no tiebreakers are needed.
